Park City, Utah {travel guide}

Back in June, we spent a long weekend in Park City, Utah, for a good friend's wedding. The entire trip was beautiful! We'd love to share a few of our fave finds in case you're headed to Utah any time soon.

Salt Lake Shopping

Yes, yes, we confess, we arrived in this gorgeous destination and immediately did a bit of power shopping. But for Houstonians, it's not everyday you're near Robert Redford's Sundance Outlet store or the Patagonia outlet. How could we resist?

Park City Paradise

We stayed at the Grand Summit Lodge, also called the Canyons Resort. It was spacious, affordable and had great views of the mountain. We'd recommend it for anyone going ski-in ski-out in the winter!

Historic Main Street

It's easy to spend an afternoon roaming the picturesque main street of historic Park City -shops, ice cream, great dining, everything a tourist needs to soak up an afternoon. Cathy particularly enjoyed a street band playing old George Jones tunes.

The High West Distillery should be on the top of your list if you're visiting PC. Great decor, scrumptious food, and excellent cocktails.

Get Outside

We had a blast taking the lift line up the mountain and wandering around. What breath-taking views of the mountain and the town! Outside adventures abound. Biking, hiking, fishing, alpine slide rides - you name it, Park City has it!

And when you need something to refuel after all that activity, we recommend Squatters. While we were in town, we googled "best breakfast." Squatters lived up to the hype!

Wedding Bells Are Ringing

Katherine and Taylor's wedding was just spectacular. From the outdoor ceremony to the reception in a barn and under the stars, we loved every detail. We didn't want to leave!

The event took place just a short drive outside of Park City, at a wonderful oasis called Red Cliff Ranch.

Park City, you're easy to love and have much to offer. Thanks for a great summer weekend! And, of course, cheers to the bride & groom!

Thanks for touring with us! Au revoir!
