What's Cookin'

The kitchen has undergone a complete transformation in the last few months. The wall between the original kitchen and dining room was closed off to add space in the current kitchen. The cabinets were custom painted by Brigitte Howell and the vintage glass knobs are from Adkins Antiques. Our designer Cathy chose marble countertops and backsplash to create a vintage French atmosphere.

Before

(Below) We love the new Italian porcelain floors and the way they coordinate with the cabinetry.

The open shelves add French charm and offer ways to display various items, such as sentimental dishes or items that require quick access during cooking.

Double ovens and under the counter microwave, and storage galore.

Custom vent surround cover was faux painted by Brigitte Howell. We think it's stunning! Gas range and antique copper pots also pictured.

The bottom portion of the island with wire baskets, cookbooks, and herb labels.

Large entry area from the garage area/backyard. Pillows stenciled by Brigitte. Vintage bench.

Another shot of the charming open shelves and marble counters.

Thanks for touring with us!
